General information, not advice

Bat & Bucket publishes general information about youth baseball and softball equipment: bats, gloves, helmets, catcher's gear, cleats and practice tools. It is not a guarantee that any product will perform as its maker specifies, that it will fit your child, that it is legal in your league (certification rules are quoted from the governing body's page on the date read and can change, and each league may add its own), or that a manufacturer will honor a warranty claim. Protective equipment reduces the risk of injury; it does not eliminate it. Follow the manufacturer's fitting and care instructions for any product you buy, confirm equipment rules with your league, and nothing on this site is medical advice.

Accuracy and changes

We work hard to keep ratings, specifications and model numbers accurate, and every figure links to its source. Manufacturers update models, certifications and specs often, leagues change rules between seasons, though, and we can make mistakes. Check the retailer or maker before you buy. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll correct it.

Prices, availability and purchases

Prices and availability are set by the retailer and change often, which is why we don't print them. When you click a buy button you leave our site; any purchase is between you and that retailer, under its terms, shipping and return policies. We don't sell products and can't help with orders.

The text, rankings, rubric and page designs on this site are owned by Iron Mako Media unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with attribution. The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Iron Mako Media is not liable for any loss or injury arising from your use of the site or of any product discussed on it. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
